Sleeping on my cat

Last night I reached a new level of intimacy with Rimsky. He is usually draped over various parts of my body throughout the night, but last night I woke up to find him UNDER me. His head was sticking out, but he was squashed under my back. And apparently quite comfortable, because he wouldn't move when I rolled over. His bones must be very loosely connected.

I have not been getting great sleep lately for several reasons other than the cats though: the baby, and a big fatty cold. I finally caught whatever jonner had, but with a couple different twists. My nose has been running non-stop, and I've been sneezing a lot. My crowning achievement was a big long puke last night where I threw up most of my chicken soup. I'm feeling a little better today, but I could use a nap.

Thanksgiving

We had a lovely thanksgiving with the inlaws and some friends. Dave, who lost most of his things in an unfortunate fire, had the consolation of having a sweet new razr phone. Hence the awesome picture of us.

ok I'm big enough now

As you can see, I have a faint line going down the center of my stomach. Assuming that is the center, I have discovered that my belly button is *not* center. It sits a little to the right. Imagine my shock and horror. How can my navel be off center? There must be some significance to it. Anyone?

And if anyone is scandalized by the partial view of bra and panty, too bad! Pregnancy is all about the bra and panty. And not in a sexy way.

Back from Laguna Beach

We took a little vacation to visit my aunt and uncle in Laguna Beach last weekend, and we enjoyed the beach and warm weather for several days. I also ate non-stop which was kinda bad and kinda good. :)

I'm still thinking about the Korean food we had there. I probably wouldn't miss California except for the food. Mmmmm.

Well, I'm getting bigger all the time. I've gained about 15 pounds now, and the baby kicks more often. It's nice to have her in my body so that I don't have to worry about her, but I'm also pretty eager to meet her. By the way, I've discovered that the trends in fashion these days are extremely maternity friendly. I found a bunch of awesome "maternity clothes" at Forever 21. They're all long and stretchy and gathered at all the right places. Just thought you'd all like to know.
