Charmed

Ruby has been charming the pants off of us lately. She's been back to her mellow self after some post-sickness clinginess, and she's been babbling a lot.

But the best part is sleepy time! When she starts getting tired, we'll ask her if she wants to go night-night, and her face will light up immediately. She says "nye nye, bye bye" and starts heading for the stairs. Usually she will be clutching a bunny or a puppy, and she'll wave good bye to Rimsky, Coco, and Bailey. She'll look up at me while lying down in the crib and wave, saying "bye bye mama" until I leave the room. And then it's quiet. Could I really be this lucky?
