these were really cool to look at. they looked very familiar to me from my time in russia. the bus stop that was near my house then was a huge statue of lenin (huge--i was only as tall as lenin's big toe). i also like the comment made about the contrast between the bus stops and the elaborate, ornate subway tunnels underground (more so in moscow than st. petersburg)--it's truly like another world underground, and i'm not just talking about the mafia. ok that's all. i was saying all of this out loud and my husband said i should write the comment down. (ha ha! husband!)
