Hungry About

Ruby is starting to tell me when she feels like eating something instead of merely responding to my offers of food.

Last night, she was sitting on the potty and talking to me (we have the best conversations on the potty), and suddenly she said, "Cheeeeese. Ruby want some cheese. Ruby hungry. Hungry about the cheese. Ruby hungry about the cheese!"

This morning, she said she was hungry about the fig newmans too.

The funniest thing about it is how she often sticks her chin out, raises her eyebrows way up, and says it really deliberately through her teeth.
