Indoors
Today we spent the whole day indoors. I usually try to make a point of leaving the house at least once a day, but today, it was just really great to chill at home. Ruby was in a great mood all day, and puttered around the house, entertaining herself and us.
Playing with playdough and rolling them into little snakes, she held them to her eyes and said, "Playdough nocklers." (Binoculars)
We did the farm puzzle together for the 332nd time. Well, I don't know the exact number, but I kid you not, that child does that puzzle 20 times a day.
We read animal guide books at great length and listened to owl sounds online.
We watched cardinals at the birdfeeder.
She ran around the house about 25 times until her face got all red. The she jumped up and down. Then she rolled around on the ground saying, "Ruby rolling on the ground!". Then jumped up and down some more, an activity made much more exciting by jumping while holding the farm puzzle so that all the pieces would go flying.
We ate lots of pasta, I knit a lot, and Jonner updated our computers. It was a good day.
