Weekend Away

It was lovely to be in Iowa this weekend. It was good to see the in-laws (yes, they are not monsters) and some friends I hadn't seen in a long time (and some of their girlfriends whom I hadn't seen ever). It was rainy and chilly (relatively) most of the weekend which was kind of sucky, but it was a spring rainy and chilly, which is quite different from a fall or winter rainy and chilly. (I am the best writer-- ever!)
